Christmas is just around the corner! Our team of Library Elves have been hard at work. Our special red letter box at the library is now ready and waiting to receive all your letters to Santa. Please make sure to post your letters before December 12th.

Elves have been busy collecting all the lovely books from the workshop.  We have a large range of pre-loved books for sale that are just waiting for someone to take them home.    Are you that someone?

This walk is a continuation of the first walk of the year “Down Old Perth Road”. We will walk to the War Memorial and talk about how the wars affected the people of Bassendean

Bassendean Library is getting ready for Children's Book Week, 17th- 23rd of August. The theme this year is "Reading is Magic' and we have a prize to help you celebrate your magical reading adventure.

Bassendean Memorial Library will be closed on Saturday 10 August so essential maintenance work to the Town’s communication systems can be carried out.

We have implemented Princh, a new printing solution, at our library. With our new solution it is now possible to easily and securely print from a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, both remotely and at the library.

Walk around Bassendean with an experienced volunteer guide and learn about some amazing places and architecture including Daylesford House and Holme House.
