Bassendean Memorial Library will soon undergo a series of minor upgrades as part of the Town’s planned Library and Customer Service integration project. 

Please note that the Bassendean Memorial Library website will have maintenance performed over the weekend.

We’re moving away from a system where new books are displayed for reservation and introducing a process that allows patrons to borrow them immediately upon arrival.

Good news! We are now back to accepting and processing request as normal.

Bassendean Memorial Library will be closed for the Christmas season from Wednesday 24 December 2025 until Saturday 3 January, 2026.  We will reopen 5 January, 2026 at 9am.
