Buildings have birthdays too, and this year, our beloved Bassendean Memorial Library is celebrating its 20th! To mark two decades of stories, community, and connection, we’re throwing a party, and you’re invited.
Join us on Wednesday, October 29 at 2:30 p.m. for an afternoon of fun and festivities at the library. There’ll be face painting, balloons, book giveaways, a nostalgic “walk down memory lane,” and of course, delicious cake!
We’re delighted to welcome the Mayor of Bassendean, who will help us honour the history and heart of our library- a place that has brought people together through learning, laughter, and the love of reading for 20 wonderful years.
Come celebrate with friends, family, and fellow book lovers, and help us make this milestone one to remember.
