West Guildford Artist at War

Local signwriter, Reg Walters came to Western Australia with his family in the mid 1880’s. He lived in West Guildford from 1910, marrying local lass May McSwain  five days after returning from World War l. Corporal Reg Walters served with the Western Australian 10th Light Horse Regiment  as a regimental artist.

Experience a free visual and musical tribute by grandson, Mark Turton, with excerpts from Reg’s war diary and  examples of his artwork.
