Book week 2019 is coming! The theme this year is ‘Reading is My Secret Power.’
Here at Bassendean Memorial Library, we will be doing all things SUPER! Spiderman and the Flash will be climbing our walls, with the Incredible Hulk and Batman smashing through windows. We shall have an incredible variety of CBCA books on display and, available for borrowing.
Come into our children’s area and create your own super hero with our cool boy and girl templates. Have a go at designing an amazing super hero cape, and a magnificent mask.
For all our young aspiring writers, Bassendean Library shall be offering a super hero writing competition! You will be able to write about your own superhero adventure and draw a picture of what you think you would look like SUPER! Entry forms will be available at the library’s front counter.
Children’s Book Week begins on the 17th of August and concludes on the 23rd of August. Come in and visit us on Saturday the 17th and begin your super hero book week adventure.
