The poems in Emily Sun’s debut poetry collection Vociferate | čŠ were inspired by diasporic-Asian feminist writers. Like these writers, Emily resists Orientalist tropes as she explores the complexities of national and transnational identities, reflects upon the concept of belonging, and questions what it means to be Asian-Australian.
