A big welcome to Rachel Jack - Our new Community Programs Librarian
My name is Rachel Jack and I am the Town of Bassendean's new Community Programs Librarian. I am a primary school teacher by trade, but a few years ago I set out to turn my lifelong love of books into a career.
Since then, I have been working at Churchlands Senior High School as a Library Officer, specialising in engaging students through events, competitions and interactive displays. I love anything arts and crafts, hiking/camping, ice hockey and reading (big surprise).
I'm keen as mustard to put this mish-mash assortment of skills and experiences to use in our Bassendean Memorial Public Library events space, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all along the way.
