Koora Middi Incursion with Greg Nannup from Indigenous Tours WA

Join Greg Nannup for an introduction to Nyoongar culture, exploring Wadjuk connections to Perth and the Swan River as a dreaming trail. Through hands-on activities, children explore native plants, traditional tools, and cultural practices such as bush medicine, fire-making, and the use of kangaroo skin and yandi dishes. The experience also includes demonstrations, storytelling, and a photo opportunity with cultural artefacts.

When: Friday 10th April 2026
Where: Meeting Room 1, Bassendean Memorial Library
Who: For children aged 5-10 years old, to be accompanied by an adult (Adults do not need to book a ticket for themselves, tickets are only required for the children attending the workshop)
Session 1: 10:00am-10:30am for children aged between 3 and 6 years old
Session 2: 10:30am-11:00am for children aged between 7 and 10 years old
Cost: Free, but bookings are essential!
