'Escape to Everywhere' with Bassendean Library. An April school holiday activity event.
We are celebrating Children's Book Week this year with artist/illustrator Jodie Davidson. This is an amazing opportunity for kids to design and create a mural on a wall in Bassendean Library. This activity has been split into two sessions.
Morning session. 10.15 -12pm- Kids design a picture for our CBW 2017 mural theme- 'Escape to Everywhere.'
Afternoon Session. 1- 4pm. - Kids transfer their design onto our library wall.
Participants are encouraged to stay for both sessions in order for their design to be completed and transferred onto the mural. This is encouraged but not essential.
When- Wednesday 12th April.
Where- Bassendean Memorial Library
Who- Children aged 5-16 yrs.

We also have writer/ illustrator Gabriel Evans. Kids, come along and watch a talented illustrator create amazing drawings then have a go drawing and writing story pages yourself. You could be the next J.K Rowling!
