Hey kids, this is a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all of you to find out if you would like to participate in Code Club at Bassendean Memorial Library. What is Code Club? Code Club Australia is a nation-wide network of free volunteer-after school coding for children aged 8-13 years. Code Club uses Scratch, a programming language that lets you create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art. Coding is now part of the Australian National Curriculum and will play an integral part in future employment roles. What do you need to be a Code Clubber?
• Your own lap top
• A USB
• A commitment to our Code Club program.
Code Club Bassendean will run once a month
till the end of the 2017 school year.
• Parental supervision will be required.

If coding sounds like your cup of tea then ask mum or dad to jump on Bassendean Memorial Library’s Facebook page and follow the link to place your name on our Expressions of Interest - Code Club Bassendean page. We have 15 places available and the first 15 names provided will be offered a Code Club spot. Register here via this link https://www.trybooking.com/OGPK
