A Medieval Christmas at Bassendean Library
Come and help us celebrate the festive season with our Medieval Christmas decorations.
The medieval holiday of Christmas is a mixture of Christian and pagan, old and new. Druid logs, bowls of wassail, where goose and venison abounded. We shan’t be hunting down a boar at Bassendean Library and serving its head on a platter, but we shall make our library glitter and glow with candles, stained glass and ye olde Christmas cheer.
When- December 1st- December 25th.
