The Hunt for the Golden Feather is here again!
Will you be the lucky child who finds a coloured feather hidden in a children’s book? Treasures galore may await you! You have only to discover a feather from the Scribbler’s Festival Golden Feather competition. Scribblers Festival is an annual festival of literature and arts for young people. Somewhere, deep and dark, hidden in a Western Australian library lies a golden feather.
The hunt is afoot and the golden feather waits only for an eager, young reader. There are jewelled feathers to find and white feathers to colour.

And arguably our favourite part of the Hunt is to see your creativity in action when you decorate 1 (or 10!) of the 15,000 White Feathers you find nestled in your favourite children’s and young adult books and post them on Instagram or Facebook, tagging @scribblersfest and
#goldenfeatherhunt for the chance to win a Spot Prize.

Prowl into Bassendean Library and start your reading adventure.
