Come and join us for a two hour Robotics workshop with the amazing Mind Mash!!
Mind Mash has been running our amazing Code Club Robotics in 2018 and this will be their last session with us at Bassendean Library; so don't miss it!!! You don't need to have prior robotics experience, you just need the enthusiasm to build, build, build!!!
This workshop, while utilising Lego and Mindstorms robotics, focuses heavily on mechanics and engineering principles.
Robotics is a great way to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects). STEM skills have been identified as essential for developing creative thinkers and problem solvers; skills that are needed for future jobs and for solving big world problems.
When: Tuesday 16 April 1.00pm-3.00pm
Where: Bassendean Memorial Library
Who: 7- 14 yrs old. Parental supervision is required.
Please be advised that participants need to bring their own laptop and also download the below
Mindstorm Education software. If this is not possible, Mind Mash does have 3 spare lap tops. Please
